R&R With a Price

This is my friend Henriette's back yard. A lovely friend of hers helped put together this little R&R hideaway.

Every gardener has a work shelf.

Every gardener has a favorite spot in the yard to enjoy a glass of dandelion wine.

And a second favorite spot...

And a third...

Dandelion. She disperses by seed-bearing parachutes.

Dandelions make a very palatable sweet wine

.
But you need A LOT of flowers for that.

Getting the R&R hideaway ready was no easy task. It involved hard work.

It involved a call to AAA to start a truck (that had nothing wrong with it to begin with).

Yours truly had everything to do with this. (Blush.) I guess I didn't know how to turn it on. (Hot face, blushing.)

Henriette and her lovely friend were so close to finishing up, when yours truly announced that the car was broken - when it really wasn't. (Upper lip perspiring.)

How hard exactly did Henriette and her lovely friend work?

This hard.

Very hard.

See that pile? Very, very hard!

So very, very hard!

She needed to take a lunch break while unloading a truck full of yard waste.

Was that so-very-very-hard work worth it?

You tell me.
