Dropping a Shipping Container

At Truk Trading Philippines, Inc., shipping containers are dropped off at your front door for loading.

The container arrives at 10AM, Sunday.
Yes, on a Sunday, when people are resting or are out of town for the weekend.

The neighbor's van is in the way of the container. Sure enough, the neighbor is out of town, and he has the keys.

Solution #1: push the van out of the way.
Which didn't work because its wheels are turned into the curb.

Solution #2: Break into the van to steer it away from the curb.

"The steering wheel is locked!"
Come on, put some muscle into it! Us those abs of steel!

Solution #3: Pull the van away from the curb.
When that didn't work...

Solution #4: Lift the van.
Oh la la, a bunch of strong, strapping men at work...
He's got legs,
He knows how to use them!

"What are you lookin' at?! You got a problem with my pink short-shorts?"

Solution #5: Jack up the van...
Ooh, yeah, he's got legs, he knows how to use them.
He's got legs, with short pink shorts.

(By the way, the signage on the chainlink fence translates "Urinating Prohibited Here".)

...then pull it away from the curb.

Success!!!

Yeah, you better think twice about my pink short shorts!

Now the container can be parked.

Let the can down!

A brief sidewalk meeting to discuss the parking incidence. "Uh-oh, you think the neighbor is going to notice that his van was moved?"

Yup, this van was obviously moved.

That is a serious beginner's parallel park job.

Solution: push it back into place.

Ah, much better!

Hope Mr. Neighbor doesn't notice anything different when he comes home.
