We are remodeling a basement for a very nice couple. Visiting the job site reminded me of all the remodeling that my crazy relatives are doing in Bohol. But here's the big difference:
1. Plans.
USA vs. Bisayang Daku
USA:
has a plan set on paper.
BisDak:
flies by the flow of the tuba,
and the word of the homeowner.
2. Tools.
USA vs. Bisayang Daku
USA:
uses state of the art tools that cut
working time from hours to seconds.
BisDak:
prefers the basic, rudimentary tools that hone their
God given talents, and perfects their human precision.
3. Equipment.
USA vs. Bisayang Daku.
USA:
makes use of a tool bag that keeps all his hand
held tools in reach at all times, on or off a ladder.
BISDAK:
depend on their natural prowess against the laws of gravity.
By the way, the blond man in this entry is Gareth. He's single. He's handsome. He has a scar across one of his brows, about which I asked him "Have you always had that scar?"
"No," he answered with a smirk. "There was a time when I didn't have it."
Point being, he's quick witted and funny too.
Not that I'm playing The Bachelor on my blog. Just sayin'...
